A serial entrepreneur approached us to build a vertical SaaS product targeting boutique management consulting firms (10–150 consultants). Existing tools like Jira and Asana were too generic; spreadsheet-based alternatives were too fragile. The market had a clear gap.
Product
We designed and built a multi-tenant SaaS from scratch over nine months. Core modules include: project and engagement management, consultant resource planning, time tracking with approval workflows, client-facing portals, and automated monthly invoicing based on tracked time.
Multi-Tenancy
Each consulting firm operates in a fully isolated tenant environment. Data is segregated at the database level using separate schemas per tenant. Tenant onboarding is fully automated — a new firm can sign up and be operational in under five minutes.
Commercial Launch
The platform launched as a commercial product with a 14-day free trial. Within six months it had 38 paying tenants. The client continues to use our team for ongoing feature development under a dedicated team model.
